Atmospheric Modeling Group Benchmarks

With changing hardware, compiler technologies and operating systems, benchmarks are necessary to help scientists getting the highest performance on different computer platforms. COMMAS and MM5 are two models used by the group. Domain sizes are chosen to be the sizes used in our research. Some benchmarks were done on time-shared systems to get readings of the effects of scheduler on model performance.
