Dr. Gilmore is actively involved in two research projects. Primarily, he is pursuing numerical simulation of severe storms as a means to improving the understanding of tornadoes and their parent convection, particularly by employing advanced microphysical models. Further, he is assisting graduate students Lee Cronce and Glen Romine with their respective research projects.
